Kellie Martin is an American actress and filmmaker most well-known for her role for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Kellie Martin is best known for her role as a protagonist in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven. Her aunt, who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles on television as well as the big screen. Martin has a background as an actress and a skilled photographer and dancer has been in the business for over twenty years. Two daughters are hers Martin is the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness daily since the loss of her sister at age 19.
